Forces acting on a skydiver

The skydiver is free falling and the air resitance is hitting  him with a strong  upward force but gravity is pulling him down faster because it is stronger

Air resistance and gravity have become equal which means he is falling at terminal velocity.

He releases the parachute and the wind catches it with a strong upward force thats greater than gravity so he slows down.

Since he is falling with the parachute it slows him down the little bit of air resistance because of the parichute is equal with gravity

Then the skydiver hits the ground  slowly which means tha he has stoped falling and gravity and air resistance is equal.
